Tomorrow's Education Today

  • Film Festival Calling All Filmmakers! The Second Annual TISD-TV Student Film Festival, sponsored by Suddenlink, is here and we need your entries!

The festival is an opportunity for students to develop their visual literacy and expand their educational experience in Tyler ISD by fostering the creative, artistic, communication and technical skills required for producing a movie. Students have four entry categories to choose from including Story, Documentary, Animation and Public Service Announcement (PSA) and have the chance to be honored at an Awards Ceremony on Monday, May 8 at Caldwell Auditorium, where they can possibly win certificates & trophies!

Deadline to submit entries Friday, April 7. Work on a solo project, involve your friends, or work with your teacher to turn it into a class project! You can enter as many films as you like, in as many categories as you like, so get your creative juices flowing and start making movies!

Use the links below to find all the information you need to enter this year's Film Festival. Good luck, and...ACTION!
